….A budget travel and holistic wellness blogger who enjoys sharing stories through my (mis) adventures. As a native Michigander and travel enthusiast, I’ve been to 25 states. These experiences, along with my drive to better myself, opened the door to immerse in cultural exchanges. Though it fueled my desire to see the world, I believed I needed more money to make it happen. Frustrated, yet eager, I would Google countries and stare at pictures for hours — longing for adventures. My domestic travels were only the beginning; somehow, some way, I would make my dreams come to fruition.
In 2017, I purchased my first adult passport because of a surprise birthday trip to Greece. Little did I know it would kick off my international travels. The timing of this — paired with a sabbatical from corporate America — allowed me to travel to 19 countries and focus on holistic healing. This prioritized travel and wellness in my life.
Not only that, I lived in Thailand for over a year, and got the chance to practice wellness daily. My journey there focused on how integrated the mind, body, and soul are — which propelled radical healing for me. This gave me the opportunity to combat my struggles with anxiety and depression. I shifted my focus to the food I eat, my mental healing, and grounding techniques. During my journey abroad, I’ve become certified in Reiki and Thai Massage. Also, I’ve practiced getting back to nature in my everyday life + through travel.
